Allerban® fibres with anti-dust mite, antibacterial and antifungal properties
In 1997, the first Allerban® antibacterial fibre filling was born. This long-lasting treatment, integrated into the fibre, which is able to withstand wash after wash and prevent the development of the dust mites (dermatophagoides pteronyssinus), fungi (aspergillus repens) and bacteria (staphylococcus aureus and klebsiella pneumoniae) which are commonly found in our bedding.
The Allerban® fillings have been thoroughly tested against all health and safety requirements and pronounced safe in every respect. The active agent is a tried and tested technology which has been EPA registered since 1976 and has been used safely for over 30 years in other domains (e.g. underwear, diapers, surgical drapes).
